Leeds United have reportedly received a
transfer request from left-back Charlie Taylor, which may open the door
for a move away from Elland Road to West Brom before the transfer window
 closes.

Joe Rawson of Radio Yorkshire says the player’s agent delivered the request on Sunday night, with the player’s deal set to expire at the end of the coming season.

Joe Rawson of Radio Yorkshire says the player’s agent delivered the request on Sunday night, with the player’s deal set to expire at the end of the coming season.
The Yorkshire side have tried to persuade Taylor to
extend his deal with Leeds this summer, but he has repeatedly rebuffed
their approaches and has expressed his desire to leave Elland Road
sooner rather than later.
A number of Premier League
clubs are thought to be interested in signing the defender, who was
United’s Player of the Season last year. Along with West Brom, Burnley
and Middlesbrough have been named as potential suitors upon their return
to the Premier League after earning automatic promotion last year.
22-year-old Taylor has spent his entire
professional career with Leeds, although has spent time out on loan at
sides such as Bradford City and Fleetwood Town. He’s played 64 league
games for Leeds, 39 of them being last year in what was his record tally
 for the club.
