Yeah, it’s kind of been a slow day guys, but we’ll get through. Dwight Gayle has expressed his emotions after experiencing a few training sessions over the past week with manager Rafa Benitez.

Positive reactions, and an outlook that is just as positive. Dwight Gayle had a chance to look back over the past few days, and he has nothing but praise for the time spent.
“The training has been really good. We’ve seen a lot of the footballs, with keep-ball, possession drills and finishing. But there’s also been a lot of shape and tactical work so it feels like we are covering everything.”
It is encouraging to see players take to heart their training sessions, but it is also encouraging to know that Rafa is doing everything he can to cover what he feels needs to be known in order to make a fight back to the Premier League.

It is well known that Rafa Benitez is moving very quickly with his plans to turn Newcastle United into a contender. With five signings and more on the way, training would have to be just as intense.
When Benitez first came into the job, the very day of his announcement as manager, players were called into a training session. That quickly turned into two sessions a day as he made a fight for safety. Benitez is a hard-nosed manager, and when he wants something, he’s going to go after it.
Newcastle will get no special treatment. In fact, Benitez will be like that teacher that pushes you the hardest, and gives you the toughest time. Not because they don’t like you, but because they want the best from you. Newcastle United will be getting the roughest and toughest Rafa Benitez yet.
