The Red Devils have enjoyed a fine summer of recruitment, with Jose Mourinho having been drafted in to replace the divisive Louis van Gaal, while moves for Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have also been sealed.

It’s understood that man United are also honing in on a near £100m deal for Pogba with officials in Italy to thrash out a deal with Juventus, and reports now claim that Rodriguez is also on their agenda.
The Colombian’s future at the Bernabeu has been the subject of some doubt for a while now, and it’s understood that Ed Woodward has spoken to the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, this week, and that a £54.2m offer for the silky ‘No.10’ is imminent.
However, Real may opt to rebuff interest in the 25-year-old as they face a lengthy transfer ban for breaching FIFA rules in regard to player recruitment.
